I had the pleasure of seeing Les Ballets Jazz de Montrèal with choreographer/mentor VIKTORIA LANGTON this past season. This 40 years strong Canadian dance company is a must see at some point should you have the chance. Not only will the incendiary & incandescent choreography stir your soul ~ it will challenge your pre-conceived notions of contemporary ballet. Athleticism & Artisty at it's finest! Labour Day weekend I had the privilege of performing at a private vineyard on Upper Bench in Penticton. The Verkerk/Krystalovich nuptials were a study in Okanagan low-key romance...lovely food & drink whilst dancing beneath the stars. The bride's family hosted a long communal bench table amidst the vines of grapes; floating above were jaunty strands of lights and the dusky moon. The couple chose Jack Johnson's BETTER TOGETHER, which I arranged for solo guitar & voice. MON CONGRATS! Watch for my upcoming SOUNDCLOUD footage soon...

A tribute to my Pilates Master Marta Hernandez ~ one of the original Pilates experts in Canada. I was fortunate enough to train at her Yaletown Pilates Studio for my initial Physical Mind Certification in 2004. Currently she has her own private space in Vancouver and often runs her trainings at Stretch studios.
